Apologies for the delay in updates, but here we go for up until the end of January!
(All stats are based on the league games only, but the Starting 11 from the MK Dons game has been added to the Cup column in appearances)
BOOKINGS
Lynch picked up a yellow at Burton to move on to 6 for the season whilst Scowen picked up his 5th of the season at the Pirelli. Luongo moves out in front with his 7th booking of the season at Ashton Gate at the weekend to move within 3 yellows of a 2 game suspension whilst Smith (3) and Onuoha (2) both picked up bookings during Saturdays loss.
APPEARANCES
The main headline in Appearance news is Aramide Oteh who has finally started a few games for us to go along with his substitute appearances whilst Ebere Eze has finally been in the first team picture with a couple of appearances off the bench this month. Matt Smith is up to 20 substitute roles this season.
GOALS
Only 3 goals from our win at Burton to discuss here this time, and a first goal for Oteh, whilst Luongo picked up his second of the season and Washington found his 5th.
GOAL TIMES
Plenty of goals to get through here, 3 for us and 6 against. There were 2 minutes in between our opener at Burton and their equaliser and both were soon before Half Time so in to the 31-45 category. Washingtons goal was in the 74th minute so the middle category of the second half whilst Luongos came right at the end so puts us on to 11 goals scored towards the end of games. Middlesbrough scored two in the first half in the 24th and 34th minutes so those categories show those along with their 3rd which was scored in the 85th minute which brings that one up even more. Finally to Saturday where Bristol City scored right before Half Time (notice a pattern here?) to add yet another goal to the 31-45 goals conceded category. Their second came in the 66th minute.
That's 3 games in this write-up and all saw us concede right before Half Time. But on the plus side, we didn't concede straight after the break once (to try and put some positive spin on this).
STATS
We're now up to 413 shots this season, yet only 125 of those have been on target, bringing us 31 goals. I won't even comment on how poor that is. The opposition aren't too much better, with 380 shots and 123 on target, bringing 42 goals. We've had 13 corners less and have committed 16 fouls more than the opposition.
