One of the best transfer windows we have had for years. We stopped the DOF And MANAGER waisting more money. But makes you think about our new scouting system.
In a way I agree but I think it's more down to the impending FFP punishment coming to us But I still think we needed a loan player or two We even have lowered the wage bill by getting rid of players like caulker too I think it proves the board are sticking with Holloway and what players we have got now Let's hope it don't backfire

Agree about at least a striker on loan, even though trying to minimise FFP threat, but I am guessing that the right player on a loan was not available/willing to come. We are not exactly a 'destination of choice' for PL players on the bench or even from players in struggling Championship clubs. We are too far south of the Top 10 clubs.... All down to the Young Bloods to gain experience for next season and change the scoring dearth this season I feel.
Plus no budget. Perhaps if we'd got rid of JET it could have been different. The clear-out is long overdue and we still have a big squad. It's hard to get rid of the players you don't want as other clubs aren't keen on them. At least we kept our better players. We need to be patient with the young players coming through. I remember a young Les Ferdinand not setting the place alight to start with.
Whether the club will regret that remains to be seen, but if QPR can retain a safe mid-table position having significantly balanced the books over the course of the season, I'm sure the hierarchy will see this season as a huge success. Of course several other high earning players such as Nedum Onuoha, James Perch and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas will be out of contract in the summer, meaning their significant wage packages will be addressed in one way or another at the end of the season.
Two of them are defenders so will they be re-signed or replaced by younger players transferred in/or elevated from U23s? The higher salaries for Perch & Onuoha will complicate any negotiations. For me, I would be happy to see the Chief playing again next season if his performance level reaches again what it was prior to his injury, but for Perch and (especially) JET their time may be up.
I suspect come the end of the season we would offer deals to perch and Chief however they will be less than they are currently on. The stance would be we have a new wage structure and this is the best we can do for you.
If they sign or not is up to them but i would be sure they could get more money else where
