If we could line up a manager who would be able to take us forward i think everyone involved would go get them. Biggest issue is can we attract such a manager or do we have to take a chance on one from lower leagues?
There are a few good examples to show sticking with one manager through some hard times can prove very beneficial later down the line...
I accept that we will not be relegated or vying for a Top 6 (or even Top 10 position as I hoped), but I do not see the biggest problem as being the current manager. The biggest problem facing QPR is the threat of FFP. Until we know how harsh will be the fine imposed (unequally) upon us, how can we seriously plan to improve our squad? Lee Hoos is doing a far,far better job in my opinion with managing finances and expectations, but he is in the dark as to our future financial strategy because we cannot plan without knowing to what level the FA intends to punish us. In a quiet corner Ian Holloway might just admit that his strike-force is anything but that, and state his desperate need for a quality finisher and a quality wing-player. We all thought this season would be one of consolidation whilst we rebuilt. It turned out to not even be that, and we could well see 2018/2019 following the same unrewarding route - especially if we lose quality players such as Luongo, Scowen, and Robinson...
