Luongo for me
Plays most games and pretty solid in midfield
He has a bit of class that some of our other players lack
Smithies a close second,he's always solid
Smith freeman and scowen all considered but not consistent all season

I’ve gone for Freeman due to the number of assists but could easily make a case for Luongo, Scowen or Robinson.

I'm going for Robinson for the way he has effectively turned his career around and become one of the first names on the team sheet. He gives us good balance at the back and is good on the ball.

I agree with Ghost though that nobody has been absolutely outstanding this season which is why lots of different players are getting votes!

Finally decided on Smithies who for me has been consistently our best player.

Real tough this year i think, as others have said no stand out candidate and few can chuck their hats in the ring.
Ive gone for Scowen because its his first season with us and i think he slotted in really well, his sitting role is vital for the team and when you compare him to henry last season its chalk and cheese.

I have gone for Scowen because he has never shirked a tackle and never slowed the pace when it matters! His intercept rate must be at the very top of the table. Have to agree though that Smithies, Robinson, and Luongo are pretty good alternatives! Come to that, the Chief would be a good candidate if he had completed more games as he has been superb at the back since returning; and if only Bidwell had been allowed to play all season like he has in the last few games.....

Good point kingfisher I think Onuoha would probably be in with a shout had he not missed 3 months. We are so much better with him in the team and he has definitely cut down his errors this season, I can't think of many goals he was at fault for at all.

The wide spread of voting does indicate that either nobody totally outshone the others, or that we have the makings of a good team out there... So nice not to see Smithies as the only real contender. We must be doing better!
