The R's powered to a 4-1 victory over Norwich, a scoreline that even Ian Holloway didn't see coming in his wildest dreams, but a whole host of players did predict a win for 3 points.
With it being an own goal that opened the scoring it meant only 12 points were on offer overall
stoatey, onenightfever, ranger-boy, myself, surrey chad, Ghost, Rosco Bosco, MCM Hoop, QPRBex and ashqpr all got the 31-45 first goal time. Only single points were awarded in the bonus match.
QPRBex's march towards the title has taken another step in the right direction pulling another 3 points clear of Rosco Bosco. A 15 point lead with 6 matches to go means Rosco needs to average 3 points more than QPRBex each match until the end of the season. Easier said than done.
Below that pair we have 3 players tied but qprallan keeps hold of 3rd place on goal difference ahead of MCM Hoop and e17hoop. Ghost has closed to within 3 points of that group and whilst ranger-boy and myself stay 8th and 9th we have joined a group of 7 players split by just 8 points in the hunt for the medals.
It was a costly match for QPRsmith to miss as onenightfever leapfrogs him out of the wooden spoon zone and in doing so falls 5 points behind the safety line. SydneyR also missed the match and is very much in the dogfight now. minxymartin was another absentee for only the second time this season and falls 13 points from safety.
stoatey has been on great form and scoring for the 11th match in a row means he is just 2 points from the top 10 in the bid to start next season in the top tier.
We play again on Saturday and next Tuesday too so don't forget to enter!
