I thought he was great last night, may not have won as many headers as Smith but ran around hassling the opposition throughout the first half. I loved the way he went and celebrated with the bench after his first goal.
When we signed him under JFH. At the fans forum both JFH and LES praised him and both said he had goals in him. We have a lack of giving a forward a sustained run unless your WASHINGTON.
I would certainly keep him over Washington but I sense Sylla may be worth more and more 'sellable' so he may leave. He has been here for 2 seasons and appears a bit injury prone and inconsistent. Yet he has a good scoring record. I wouldn't be sad to see him go if we can make some money but if he stays I hope he can play like last night match in match out.
When we signed him I remember Les and JFH saying he would score plenty of goals. He has been a bit unlucky with injury and hasn't had a decent run in the team. Now he's injury free we need to play him in the remaining games of the season and it would be good to see him alongside Smith this Saturday. I would also give Freeman a rest and play Eze and Smyth out on the flanks. We are starting to be much more clinical in front of goal and now look very exciting going forward but defensively we are very poor. I think I heard somebody say that in our last 70 games we have only kept 10 clean sheets. If we didn't have Smithies it would be even less.
I like Sylla when he plays He's a bit lazy at times and don't help out much But he is a goalscorer and is good in the air and he's pretty nippy too Problem is you don't know what your gonna get with him He could easily score 10-15 goals a season I think he will move on as it's not quite worked out for him here for one reason or another Washington needs to go as much as he tries he don't score Bidwell looks more of a striker than he does at the moment Washington would suit a team at top of league one and would score like he used to then
