QPR V PNE 1-2 FT

I have predicted a 2-1 home win, which may well be ambitious, but we are porous at the back and are now scoring goals. I would settle for a draw though!

Team selection is sorted in defence I would have thought (unless Perch comes in for a farewell start):

Smithies; Furlong, Baptiste, Robinson, Bidwell;

Midfield and attack is a different story. Has Cousins done enough to get a second start ahead of Luongo? Will Scowen be 'rested' because of his high number of yellow cards? Will we go for width, knowing that PNE are usually solid in the air against crosses? Here is who i would play:

Wzsolek, Scowen, Lungo, Freeman;

Up front would you keep Sylla & Smith, or go for Smith & Smyth to counter their aerial defence? What about Eze? Here is mystarting due:

Smyth & Smith 

Hard to call, we look like scoring at home but seem to win then lose.

Preston could make the playoffs so have something to play for but have lost 3 of their last 4.

Would not like to bet real money on this game!

As for the starting line up I don't think he will play Smith and Sylla as Holloway likes somebody to do the chasing. Smyth and Sylla have done enough to keep their places but Smith was in top form before his illness so tough to know.

Samuel also did very well so he perhaps should stay in the side.

Holloway's line ups are hard to predict anyway, now it is even harder.

Perch and Mackie are more likely to feature in the last home game rather than tomorrow.

My reason for preferring Smith was because of the physicality normally found in a PNE defence, and Sylla has a tendency to retreat into himself when faced with tough defenders; otherwise I would have given him another run. I was also impressed with Osayi-Samuel's tenacity in tackles, which would be very useful against PNE, but I prefer Wzsolek purely because he is very good in defence as well as attack. 

Maybe I'm starting to understand Holloway! Smyth is indeed dropped, as is Sylla.

Hard to understand.

Smithies also makes way for Ingram losing his 100% record.

Freeman and Scowen also rested.
