Lost my love for F1 some years ago when it became a sponsor dominated 'parade'. Admittedly, there have been some improvements to try and get the cars racing again but I am still to be convinced.

Agree! For me it started to lose its sparkle when they stopped running to their cars at the start!
Didn't Tony once have a F1 team that he managed to turn into a GP2 team. Got a feeling that Caterham are now a feeder team that tries to develop drivers for F1 teams. I suppose he is consistent because he has done the same to us!

His F1 venture was an epic failure. I think he has learnt twice now with F1 and football that you can't just throw money at something and expect to be successful!

If you want to throw good money after bad then I would suggest buying into a struggling F1 team is just ahead of a mid-level football/rugby side! It should be all about indulging your passion for the sport (whilst garnering free publicity where you can) for minimal outlay.
