I have tried my best to put together the best bits:

McClaren:
club is 'recovering'...last 2 years have been good getting house in order..
On the field I am excited by the squad, that is the attraction
I've missed the coaching, the building a team. This squad I believe is very good, it's young, enthusiastic, energetic, can play football
For me a perfect fit.
No targets for next season, targets are not set. The priority is winning football matches and in a certain style. I believe with this squad we can achieve that.
to go forward we need experience around youth, we are looking towards that.
(on the 2 year deal) > it is not about contracts, if in 2 years we have progressed we keep moving forwards
I am glad QPR have given me an opportunity to come back into the game, I hope in 2 years we take this club forwards.
(asked what is required/rebuild of squad) > that is something we will discuss over the next weeks. Will know once pre-season kicks in, after the first game of pre-season I'll know what the squad is capable of.
(laughs when asked about being linked with Martin/Ward) > we will be linked with everybody, that is football. We have time now to sit down and plan ahead.
...it is not about budgets and big players, there are a lot of clubs like Millwall/Brentford that have proved you don't need a big budget.
This club is at a stage where we start going forward and start progressing. We are looking to add experience to the squad.
Everybody knows the (financial) troubles over the past few years that have taken the club backwards. I praise everybody here for stabilising the club over the past 2 years and in the next 2 years we hope to move forward.
I know the club from 5 years ago... I got a feel for the club, a feel for the fans, I kept in touch with Fernandes. QPR are in same hands and the owners want the club to move forwards.
We need to surround that youth
(questioned relationship with Les) good, good. will plan over the next few days to get QPR to the next level.
We need the right players. I spoke to Penrice and recruitment has been very good over past 2 seasons, we want that to continue.
