At the begining of the season the BBC asked all the regular newspaper journalists covering the Championship to predict the final league table. The link below goes to the article and just shows it is not just us that struggles with predictions! Interesting by the way as to where they collectively placed QPR in the table....

Most of us were spot on in our pre-season predictions

QPR were probably the easiest team to predict this past season. Next season is a lot more unpredictable for us with a new manager and likely changes to key players.

Cardiff and Millwall were the surprises last year, we need to hope that is us next year!

Sunderland made the BBC look a bit foolish!

Knowing the likely squad members, what do you think? I cannot be that pessimistic!

The bookies have us as 19th favourite for the title on average. OR 6th favourites for relegation.

Realistically we are heading for mid-table in my view.

We are better than relegation - especially if we add another 1 or 2 quality players that strengthen the starting 11 - but anybody thinking we could have an unlikely promotion push is massively optimistic.

We are probably so mid-table we'll have another season pretty much over by February.
