Whichever way you look at the fixture list it has a look of a tough division to succeed in. With Wigan, Blackburn & Rotherham back from below, plus Stoke, Swansea & West Brom from above all joining the Championship, this season will certainly be tighter in terms of actual games and points achieved. [That sounds suspiciously like a prediction...]

Only FIVE out of the 24 teams have never been in the Premier League before. 19 ex-Premier League teams in The Championship must be the highest ever.
That means nigh on 80% of the teams think it is their right to be challenging near the top. Almost every club can say they deserve to be 'back where they belong'. Only 3 out of us all can make it to the promised land.
Very, very tough. And that is why so many managers change during the season because all of those 19 clubs think they should be higher than what they already are to begin with!

I bet every fan blog for every Championship side has a thread where fans are stating where their club will end up is the Top 10/Play Offs/Promoted! We are living examples of the field of dreams!!
