The QPR Squad

In starting to formulate the Dream R's Fantasy Football for 2018/19 (keep your eyes peeled in the next few weeks!) I have obviously been listing the current QPR squad and it really does highlight how short the current QPR squad looks (with just 5 weeks until the new season don't forget!)
Goalkeepers:
Ingram
Lumley
Dieng
Obviously we were able to sell Smithies as we have 2 goalkeepers who can do a job. Ingram has been waiting for nearly 2 years for a regular run in the side whilst Lumley got rave reviews on loan at Blackpool just 1 level below our current standing. Hopefully both can step up and not have us missing Smithies too much!
Defenders:
Bidwell
Furlong
Hall
Lynch
Baptiste
Hamalainen
Kakay
Phillips
This is obviously the real area of concern currently.
We only have pretty much untried and unproven youth as cover at full back (Hamalainen and Kakay) whilst at centre back we have 3 players who have constant injury concerns. Grant Hall has played only minutes in the past 18 months.
Midfielders:
Freeman
Scowen
Luongo
Cousins
Manning
Goss
Osayi-Samuel
Wszolek
Wheeler
Chair
Owens
Shodipo
A strong area of the team but if you just take away one of those names (like Luongo or Freeman, be it sold or injured) it immediately doesn't bring as much confidence!
Wheeler remains unproven at this level, we are still waiting to see the best from Cousins and I'm sure of us wouldn't mind Goss leaving.
I expect Osayi-Samuel to do well this season as McClaren favours a 4-2-3-1 formation so should play with 2 wide men.
Do we still need improvements in midfield or do we just need more from a few of the players we already have?
Forwards:
Smith
Washington
Smyth
Sylla
Eze
Oteh
Matt Smith looks fit and trim in the pre-season photographs and he could be the figurehead if McClaren does play 1 up front with 3 in behind.
Sylla remains an anomaly, a good scoring record but never consistent enough.
I'm sure most fans would like to see Washington moved on but are we likely to get much money for him?
Personally I would like to see both Sylla and Washington moved on but that is easier said than done.
Oteh looked promising before being ditched after only a few appearances last winter and looks lower down the pecking order whilst we surely all hope that Eze and Smyth continue to improve and impress in equal measure.
Who would you like to see come and go?
What do you see as our strengths and weaknesses?
Where would you like to see the squad improved?
