Win, Lose & Draw - Week 1 - 3rd-5th August

Welcome everyone to the new game on Hoops & Dreams.

This is the quickest and easiest game to play. Every week I’ll list 10 fixtures and all you need to do is to pick one home team to win, one to lose and one to draw. We don’t need scorers, goal times or actual scores.

The scoring is pretty simple too.
- You get 2 points for each correct prediction
- You can nominate one team as a joker and you’ll get a bonus point if you get their result right.
- Finally you get a bonus point if you get all 3 predictions right.
So the maximum score is 8.

We also have goal difference to split people on the same number of points. It is calculated based on the teams you predicted to win and lose. For example:
- If the team you predict to win end up winning 3-1 you get a goal difference of +2. If they lose 1-0 you get a goal difference of -1. If they draw you get a goal difference of 0. 
- If the team you predict to lose end up losing 2-1 you get a goal difference of +1. If they win 4-1 you get a goal difference of -3. If they draw you get a goal difference of 0.

So here are the first week’s 10 matches, taking place on 3rd-5th August. No Premier League this week as it doesn’t start yet.
- Reading v Derby
- Birmingham v Norwich
- Millwall v Middlesborough
- Wigan v Sheffield Wednesday
- Sheffield Utd v Swansea
- Leeds v Stoke
- Portsmouth v Luton
- Wycombe v Blackpool
- Hamilton v Hearts
- Aberdeen v Rangers

Remember, all I need is 3 home teams:
- One you think will win
- One you think will draw
- One you think will lose
- And pick one of the 3 as your joker.

So an entry might look like this:

Win: Reading
Lose: Aberdeen (J)
Draw: Birmingham
