First off thank you to everybody who has played, both old and new. So a warm welcome to a whole host of newbies: swedenhoop, gingersj123, qpr1882, MaxQPR, savoyhoop and bplatt23 meaning we have 26 players this year, by far the most ever.
The future matches are usually up for predictions a few at a time so you can enter early if need be. If not and you are going to be away or offline simply send me a message and I'll put more matches up.
Don't forget that The League Cup 2018/19 Prediction Cup is now up and ready for predictions in Round 1 where 10 bonus points are on offer.
As for the main QPR Prediction League we have Division 1 and Division 2 tables for the first time. It was set up at the end of last season with 10 players in Division 1 with the same amount in Division 2. Having so many players if we continue that way Division 1 will expand to 12 teams by having 3 up and 2 down at the end of Phase 1 and 2 this season before 3 up and 3 down thereafter. We will see how this progresses if everybody keeps up as the weeks go by.
On to the results:
LurkR had a great prediction day calling both the 1-0 defeat and the 46-60 goal time. ashqpr also got the 1-0 score exact
Reigning champion Ghost started in true champion style by being the only entrant to get Browne as first scorer. A superb call.
swedenhoop started by calling the 46-60 first goal time, the only player other than LurkR to do so.
Only single points were picked up from the bonus match
4 players in Division 1 all drew a blank - QPRBex, ranger-boy, kingfisher and qprallan. As mentioned LurkR and Ghost both started strongly.
ashqpr had the best start in Division 2 with swedenhoop, stoatey and MaxQPR next up with a solid 4 points apiece.
6 players - minxymartin, gingersj123, onenightfever, SydneyR, bplatt23 and savoyhoop - all failed to score so it was a bad start for 3 of the new players, especially bplatt and savoyhoop who sit bottom on goal difference.
A looooooong way to go of course. Thanks again to everybody who has got involved!
Remember the adding up of scores is a manual process, I'm only human so if you can please double check your own scores each week and if there is ever a rare error please don't hesitate to flag it up!
