It looks very unlikely we are going to sign anyone
Every target we've had seems to have gone elsewhere by the look of it
We are not an attractive proposition anymore and it looks like nearly every other club in our league are buying new players or loaning in decent ones
Its going to be one hell of a achievement to avoid going down to league one I'm afraid

Its not a real surprise and it begs the question, Whats the point of having a DoF and a Scouting team? Whilst there has been paper talk of being linked to players I'm inclined to believe that its false news being spread by the club to try and keep the fans happy.

I expected at least a striker and defender and loan a decent midfielder when freeman goes today

Middlesbrough back in for QPR's Luke Freeman - bid rejected earlier in the month. Boro's first-team coach Curtis Fleming is a big fan having worked with him at QPR before. Boro could offer players in exchange to get deal done - Marvin Johnson a possibility.

Not aware of any medical for Luke Freeman or indeed a fee being agreed as discussed on talkSPORT. Rovers have seen a £4m bid turned down as reported here: bit.ly/2OkBaIO

But I understand it's a deal Rovers would like to do.

I think if we are to see a permanent incoming today - it's likely to be him.

The points they make are all valid. In the next few weeks the big worry will be if Toni Leistner gets injured or banned because the only fit central defenders would be Lynch and Baptiste.

Until (and if) Grant Hall returns to full match fitness we would have to rely upon even more ex-EDS fringe players, such as Phillips and Hamalainen. i am sure they would do their best but it is a huge step up from playing EDS games to those in the Championship.
