He had a bad game. Shocking actually. He should have been the player once it got to 4-1 that rallied the troops and made sure it didn't become an embarrassment.
But he was looking good in the previous 3 games so let's not write him off just yet.
West Brom exposed his lack of pace. He made numerous poor decisions. But let's see how he responds on Tuesday.

I have not yet plucked up the courage to view the full disaster but would I be right in assuming that part of Leistner's problems was Kakay being overrun? If that is the case then I do have some sympathy for him, because he was probably being caught out of position trying to help out Kakay again. If we had an equally strong player in the other CB then it would not be so bad, but Lynch always looks far better going forward and is too easily 'turned'. When you include poor cover from the midfield and you have a potential recipe for just such a disaster by a PL-quality side.....

Unfortunately Kakay's inexperience was exposed and I just hope his confidence hasn't been totally shot. He is one for the future and because of the clubs defensive issues he was thrown in at the deep end before he was ready. For me its important that he plays against Bristol Rogers in the cup to hopefully restore some of that confidence.

Well I hope whoever is managing by then does indeed play him. I too think he has promise. Even though Rangel played well against Bristol City there will be a time when a fully-fit and prepped Kakay will be needed.
I couldn't agree more. The worst thing that can happen is he doesn't play! It would be unfair to make him a scapegoat for the poor start to the season as I think he has great potential and will flourish!
