QPR Prediction League 2018/19 - Match 5 - Results

QPR finally won a game today at the 5th time of asking in the league this season and it was a day of contrasting fortunes for our players!
Well done to minxymartin for calling the 1-0 score exact, the only player to do so although kingfisher, myself, qprallan, Ghost, pamment8 and QPRBex also predicted the QPR win
Hemed scored on his debut and that left savoyhoop, Ghost, pamment8 and myself who predicted it cheering louder than most
stoatey, MaxQPR, e17hoop, QPRBex, minxymartin, myself, CutePR, Rosco Bosco, surrey chad and qprallan got the first goal time of 31-45
In Division 1 there are ominous signs for the rest with reigning champion Ghost hitting the summit already thanks to 9 points, taking over from CutePR at the top. kingfisher is up to 3rd but there are only 5 points between the bottom EIGHT players. Currently e17hoop sits bottom with Rosco Bosco sliding back down into the 2 relegation places. QPRBex moves off the bottom and up to 8th.
I was the top scorer overall this week with 12 points and that moves me up from 9th to 3rd in Division 2. savoyhoop has recovered from a slow start to his first season and is also moving up rapidly, now sitting 4th whilst minxymartin rises from 11th to 5th. onenightfever who was 3rd last time out failed to score and falls all the way down to 8th with everybody still close at this early stage.
pamment8 is up off the bottom after more than doubling his score from the previous 4 matches with 9 points in the bag. That leaves QPRsmith bottom after forgetting to enter.
We are 1/3 of the way through Phase 1 already with 10 games to go before 3 go up and 2 go down to give us two even divisions of 11 players.
Remember the top 8 in Division 1 who avoid relegation will get a handicap of sorts with 10 points to 1 point added at the start of the next phase depending on finishing position as a bonus/reward.
The bottom 3 in Division 2 get minus points as a punishment for the low finishing position (-6. -4 and -2 for the bottom 3).
