We were on the recieving end of some awful decisions against Sheffield United, especially the penalty, so things to tend to even up in the end over the season.
It did look like a push from Lynch but the Wigan player went down with arms flailing so did himself no favours!
That article does not resemble either what happened in the game or the refereeing - partisan journalism that does nobody any favours! The game was fairly even and reflects the scoreline. No side dominated. A draw would equally have been not a shock. Like Surrey Chad, I felt the ref did better than average. He was fair and played the advantage whenever he thought it was right so to do. I can only assume he allowed the goal, despite Dunkley ending up on the ground, because both sides were pushing & shoving.
