on a serious note I thought he looked alright for Glasgow rangers last season he certainly deserves to be still in the game as quoted above even in a coaching role he could play for any league one or two side in my opinion clint was a good very commited player and always gave 110% hope he finds something for next season
Was Lynch really any better last season? Not for me. He was often rash and has an error in him.
Clint Hill, as a backup and to have around the club, is a no-brainier for me. Especially when Holloway is going on about "Player Committees" and creating a belief/desire amongst the players.

Our defence is very poor and we definitely need some better quality defenders. Not sure that Clint would get much game time for the first team but if we can get rid of Steven Caulker and his big wages to Celtic then he would be a good addition to the squad and his defensive knowledge and experience could be used in helping as a coach for the younger players.
Every year we had Clint we were saying "he'll play fewer games this season, 100% effort but he won't be able to keep it up" and every year we were all proved wrong
get him back, give him the armband and watch him play the majority of the season as usual
