We are now 2/3 of the way through Phase 1 of the season and so things are taking shape...
Calling the 3-0 was a superb effort as it is not a common scoreline but it was somehow managed by 5 players: onenightfever, ashqpr, singlespeed, savoyhoop and SydneyR! Well done to all, impressive!
Nobody got Baker-Richardson as first scorer, popular pick McBurnie didn't even bag one of the 3 goals.
kingfisher, CutePR, savoyhoop and LurkR got the 16-30 first goal time
onenightfever and savoyhoop not only both got the 3-0 above but also got the 2-2 bonus match exact! Neither are obvious scores so kudos to both players!
The top scorer this week was savoyhoop who scored a brilliant 12 overall to complete a move from 10th to 4th inside 2 weeks and is now right in the promotion mix.
SydneyR has scored 30 points in 5 games to storm to the top of Division 2, knocking surrey chad off the top. surrey chad actually scored for the first time in 4 games but still loses top spot for the first time since Match 2.
singlespeed is up and down at the moment and after being 2nd until Match 6 then dropping to 8th he is back up to 2nd! There are just 2 points between the top 4 in the promotion race with a 6 point gap back to onenightfever who is up to 5th from 9th. QPRsmith is starting to look marooned at the bottom!
The lead has changed in Division 1 too, with CutePR slipping to 2nd behind new leader LurkR who is back on top for the first time since Match 2. It remains incredibly tight though with the top 3 split by just 3 points then a further 3 points between the next 3 players.
ranger-boy stays bottom but both ranger-boy and Rosco Bosco have moved closer to QPRBex and the safety line. e17hoop has managed to score in all 10 games and has a 5 point lead over QPRBex. It is only going to take a big score here or there to completely change the shape of either Division!
Only 5 games left to get bonus points, avoid relegation and get promotion! And we play again on Tuesday - don't forget!
