A good result and a very good 3 points But we blow hot and cold all the time Why can't we just play the same every game We play well one game then look like a pub team the next We still are lacking goals and that's got to be sorted Defence looked a lot better but you need goals the other end and if we can get our strikers scoring we can go mid table before you know it But does anybody know what we're going to get next game because I don't

It looked just a matter of time before we scored and whilst Leistner was a bit of a surprise scorer I will take it. Wells works his socks off and really does deserve a goal but it was a big 3 points.
Two poor teams and matches at Reading have usually ended 1-0 either way in the past so expect it to be tight.
Well this proved very true. It was a match between two poor teams, Reading were just worse than us. They were truly woeful, all they seemed to do for the first 70 minutes was switch play over and over. It took our goal to liven them up a bit.
They could have sneaked a point as we basically shut up shop as soon as we scored which was dangerous, so we were on the back foot for the last 20 minutes.
We don't look consistently threatening in open play which is a concern. Our last 3 goals now have been deflected/scruffy strikes.
At least in this 4-2-3-1 formation we look very hard to beat. Hopefully we have seen the last of 4-4-2.
A note on Eze; he seems to have a very good game if he starts well and beats a few men in the opening minutes (Millwall, Bolton, Sheffield United), like it gives him confidence and scares the opposition. If he doesn't start well he remains quiet and on the periphery of things throughout the match like tonight.
Now 17th on 13 points!!
