We head in to the international break with just 3 matches ahead left in Phase 1 of the season and the 1-1 draw with Derby has possibly gone a long way to determining how Phase 1 will shape up.
It was only QPR's 2nd draw in 12 games this season but the 1-1 was expertly called by a whole host of players; LurkR, QPRsmith, QPRBex, MCM Hoop, ashqpr, e17hoop and SydneyR
stoatey, Ghost, LurkR, SydneyR, ranger-boy, QPRsmith and kingfisher got the 16-30 first goal time whilst only single points were picked up from the bonus match and nobody got Marriot as first scorer.
LurkR and SydneyR both scored 9 points and top Divison 1 and 2 respectively. LurkR is 8 points clear of kingfisher and looks set for a good points bonus heading in to Phase 2. SydneyR meanwhile has moved 7 points clear of previous Division 2 leader savoyhoop and it will take some turnaround for 3 players to overtake him now to snatch away promotion.
MaxQPR forgot to enter but largely got away with it as the 3 players around him all failed to score so he stays 4th in the 2nd tier.
QPRsmith, who previously hadn't scored more than 4, hit double figures with 10 points and was the top scorer this round. He stays bottom but moves closer to the rest. I drop to 2nd bottom as ashqpr scored 6 to jump up 2 places.
It is looking bleaker for ranger-boy and Rosco Bosco in the drop zone in Division 1. Both are now 8 points from safety after QPRBex bagged 6 points. ranger-boy does sneak off the bottom ahead of Rosco owing to a higher individual match score only.
MCM Hoop moves up 2 places to 4th whilst CutePR drops 3 places to 6th. 2 blanks in a row make it only 4 points in 4 games for the previous leader. e17hoop has again picked up points and a solid 6 this round move him up 1 place to 6th and he can start looking up for a solid points bonus for the next phase rather than over his shoulder.
