Well done to kingfisher, minxymartin and QPRsmith for predicting the 2-0 away win for QPR at Ipswich
Although I'd love to give first scorer to Freeman the BBC, Sky and the official QPR site all have it as an own goal so apologies to MCM Hoop who went for Freeman.
kingfisher also got the early first goal time along with pamment8
QPRsmith, SydneyR and surrey chad also got the bonus match 1-0 to Villa exact
With just 2 matches to go in this phase we will know who is up and down by this time next week!
QPRsmith had only scored 15 points in the first 11 matches but with 9 points this match is makes it 19 from 2 games, a crazy turnaround in form. It leaves me bottom of Division 2 with QPRsmith up to 11th.
It is going to take a pretty odd set of results for SydneyR to not get promoted. He has an 11 point lead over 4th place and it is hard to see 3 players overtaking him in 2 games. Below SydneyR it is looking incredibly tight and there are going to be some unlucky and disappointed players in a weeks time.
Currently savoyhoop and minxymartin occupy the other 2 promotion places but MaxQPR, surrey chad, pamment8 and singlespeed are all within 4 points of promotion. surrey chad actually drops out of the top 3 for the first time since the opening day! To be honest a double point score from anybody in Division 2 could put them in the promotion race.
In the top tier ranger-boy and Rosco Bosco are looking in real peril still 8 points from safety. Even something like a usually solid 6 point score in each match probably won't be enough now to catch QPRBex, they need good double point scores fast.
The only movement in Division 1 was at the very top and we have a new leader in kingfisher. LurkR had a good looking 8 point lead after the last match but failed to score and so kingfisher with an impressive 9 points takes top spot. The only other player to score more than 1 in Division 1 was qprallan who stays 7th but moves 11 points clear of the bottom 2.
Don't forget to enter the final 2 games - we play on Tuesday and Friday!! If you are likely to forget enter now, both matches are available!
