Why

Apparently we can sign player if (and only if) another squad player leaves first! Odd little clause added that rather sweetens the transfer embargo pill...

I thought the same thing.

We can only bring a player in if we sell one.

And even then the player coming in can only be worth so much and on a lower % wage than the player leaving.

We should be able to extend Rangel's deal as long as we do it before January.

We didn't sign anybody last January so the best case scenario is we keep everybody intact and carry on with the same squad.
