Phase 1 of the season is over and so we have our first ever promotions and relegations confirmed!
Let's see who is moving up and down...
Nobody went for 1-0 to the R's and nobody got Wszolek as first scorer so points were at a premium somewhat
stoatey, qprallan, e17hoop, savoyhoop, Ghost, surrey chad, MCM Hoop, kingfisher and MaxQPR all got the first goal time
ashqpr was the only player who got Stoke's 1-0 away win in the bonus match exact
In Division 1 the drama at the bottom never peaked in the final match as Rosco Bosco and ranger-boy both failed to score which seems them both relegated to Division 2.
LurkR secured top spot and the 10 point bonus start to the next Phase with kingfisher second getting 8 bonus points and Ghost bouncing back up to 3rd at the last hour for a better bonus of 6 points.
The big loser was QPRBex who was 3rd but drops all the way down to 8th after failing to enter due to how close it was in the top tier. qprallan moves all the way up from 8th to 4th to get 5 bonus points rather than 1, a good end to the Phase!
e17hoop scored in all 15 matches of Phase 1 beating the record of 14 successive scoring games in a row.
All the drama was to be found in Division 2!!
SydneyR looked nailed on for promotion and so it proved finishing 8 points clear. Below SydneyR it ended up being surrey chad and this seasons new boy savoyhoop who take the remaining 2 promotion places! Spare a though for MaxQPR who misses out on promotion on goal difference to the 2 players above whilst minxymartin dropped from 2nd to 5th at the wrong moment. MaxQPR missed Match 12 and how costly that proved.
I ended up the loser of the opening phase of the season, rock bottom and starting the next phase with -6 as a punishment. QPRsmith saw his recent resurgence come to a shuddering halt with a zero score and he ends up with a minus starting score dropping back below ashqpr who avoided a minus punishment on goal difference. onenightfever stays 2nd bottom so starts next time on -4.

The starting points for Phase 2 are shown below. Goal difference carries across the whole season. The divisions are now level with 11 players in each and so at the end of Phase 2 there are 2 up and 2 down
With Rosco Bosco joining me in Division 2 it means players holding 4 titles from the previous 6 seasons are now in the lower tier.
A final note, if you are through to the Semi Finals of the League Cup Prediction Cup don't forget to enter in midweek!
