I know that's tongue-in-cheek but the world has moved on. He was a luxury player who needed the rest of the midfield to do his defensive duties. The way the game is played now doesn't really allow for that. Look at all the work Chair puts in for the team.
He also won't be the player he was back in the day.
Having said that, what a talent! Always a QPR legend - perhaps the last of the great mavericks.
Taarabt was unbelievable to watch at times Warnock managed to tame him somehow I doubt we’d ever see a player with his skill and prowess at loftus road again Although he was a good individual player he wasn’t exactly a great team player if we’re honest Chair reminds a bit of him the way he plays but he does work for the team Some of Taarabts goals were bordering on rediculous when you look at them again and he takes out so many players with one move One of my favourite players for sheer entertainment

Taarabt is in the past and for me he just missed out on my top 10 players of all time (think he was number 11)
but lets face it if he were to return wouldnt be the same
we have just witnessed legends returning recent and lets face it tha past with them is harder to remember now (will always love Charlie and he is in my top 10 but when i now think of him i think of his 2nd stint rather than his first)
leave well alone Mr Beale (you couldnt cope with him anyway and in Chair and Willock you have 2 hard grafters)
thanks Adel but remain in my memory as the great 1 and half season wonder you were
Nobody realistically would want him back,he’s way past his best now But we witnessed some entertaining football and goals from him when he was with us and he’s not quite a QPR legend in my eyes but that season he helped get us promoted he was unstoppable not a single defender could handle him in the championship back then
