QPR Prediction Cup - League Cup 2018/19 - The Final: Results

qprallan and QPRBex faced off in the League Cup final in the battle for 10 bonus points for the QPR Prediction League
They made predictions on 4 matches and here is how The Final played out...
We'll start in reverse order
Match 4 saw no points for either player as Burton shocked 'Boro which neither player saw coming
In Match 3 both players collected 3 points for the Chelsea win but nothing more
In Match 2 both players draw a blank as City drew with Leicester and neither got the early goal time or goal scorer.
So it was all decided by Match 1 between Spurs and Arsenal...
Firstly neither player predicted the Spurs win or Son to open the scoring but...
QPRBex got the Spurs first goal time of 16-30 and that Spurs would open the scoring and those 4 points mean QPRBex is the League Cup winner for 2018/19 taking it by 7 points to 3 in a low scoring final!
Commiserations to qprallan who was the top scorer coming in to the final but it proved one step too far.
Here is how the Final scores looked:
QPRBex now has the choice of having 10 points applied in the current Phase 2 or to have them applied later in Phase 3 of the QPR Prediction League.
It comes down to whether you want a better chance of securing a place in the top tier to fight for the title in Phase 3 or take the risk and have a better shot at getting the title should you remain in Division 1 for Phase 3 anyway. The choice is yours. If you can please 'reply' with your choice before Match 24 on Boxing Day so everybody can see your choice.
I'm sure you'll all agree the new cups this season are a success and the FA Cup prediction competition is already online and ready for entries with another 10 bonus points on offer!
