We are half way through the season and we are about to find out who is the Christmas Number 1 for 2018/19 as we also pass the mid-way point of Phase 2 of the season...
QPR hadn't won at Forest in 84 years so the pessimism in the majority of predictions was understandable.
MaxQPR and minxymartin though were celebrating the R's unlikely victory even more than most having both gone for 1-0. In MaxQPR's case it was a second edit entry so a good choice to change his original prediction! savoyhoop and SydneyR were the only other players to go for a QPR win.
Nobody got Leistner as the first scorer but kingfisher, stoatey, ashqpr, MCM Hoop, QPRBex, savoyhoop and QPRsmith got the first goal time of just before half time
stoatey and ashqpr brilliantly got the Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 win exact in the bonus match
minxymartin was the top scorer this round with a 2nd consecutive 7 point score which puts him right into the promotion mix just 1 point off 3rd place man QPRsmith. pamment8 drops out of the top 3 having failed to enter for the second match in a row and he hasn't been online for 3 weeks which is very unlike pamment8 so I'm sure we all hope everything is ok there.
singlespeed stays top but stoatey has cut his lead to 2 points. Rosco Bosco drops 3 places into the bottom 3 with MaxQPR moving to a position of safety but it is incredibly close with just 7 points between 7 players from the promotion places to the bottom 3.
onenightfever has now scored 1 point for 5 games in a row which is rather improbable and isn't enough to move him off the bottom of Division 2.
In Division 1 the Christmas Number 1 is surrey chad! Despite failing to score for the 2nd match in a row surrey only sees his lead cut by 1 point to 6 over LurkR. The player top at Christmas has not gone on to win the title in the past 3 seasons.
savoyhoop moves up 1 place to 5th trading places with League Cup winner QPRBex. Below them SydneyR is up out of the bottom 3 rising 2 places to 7th. That means that Ghost - the reigning champion - drops into the drop zone. e17hoop and CutePR both failed to score so both remain as the bottom 2.
