2018 RESULTS:
Here we can see a complete breakdown of our results throughout 2018, broken in to last season (above) and last season (below). Even though we still aren't the best travellers, our results on the road this season look much better than they did last season with double the amount of wins (still a low 4 I accept but still an improvement). This also shows how strong our home form has been throughout 2018.
This table here shows in numbers what we achieved last year, with 22 wins (16 at home). As much as we seem to have had hard times and many poor results, the stats don't lie and we have actually won more games than we have lost! We also don't tend to draw many games either (except November when half of or away draws came in that one month).
OUTCOME PERCENTAGES:
Those 22 wins translate in to 44% of our seasons results, whilst the 21 losses make up 42% of all results. The final 14% comes from our 7 draws.
GOALSCORERS:
In recent times we've been used to our strikers scoring the goals, however our top scorer for 2018 actually plays in midfield! Luongos 7 goals in the calendar year makes him a surprise winner in this category. Wells, Smith and Freeman are joint second with one only being here since late August another still to get a goal this season and the last being a midfielder. The only Own Goal to go for us in 2018 was away to Ipswich Town in a 2-0 win earlier this season.
GOAL TIMES:
When it comes to conceding goals, this shows for the forst 15 minutes we hold firm before all hell breaks loose! Interestingly, the times we scored and conceded the most goals are the same times, being just before Half Time and right at the end of matches.
TOTAL GOALS:
Out of the 129 goals in our games last year, 62 have been scored and 67 have been conceded. However when you remember we did have a few freak games (such as Forest at home in February and West Brom in August), the 67 goals conceded doesn't actually seem too bad. We also seem to be doing well at home with a respectable 39 goals scored at Loftus Road.
