It genuinely won’t surprise me if Eze ends up at Villa as a direct replacement for Grealish once he leaves.
Also I don’t know how genuine the rumours are, but I have heard from a couple of people that Eze could possibly go to Sheffield United for Freeman plus £7m. IF that turns out to be genuine, would that be a good bit of business?

Good call with Villa now they are safe.
That Sheffield United rumour is the most hilarious yet. Freeman hasn't played, is a year older and wasn't half the dynamic player Eze is. I'd value Freeman at no more than what we sold im for.
If teams want to give us players in exchange it's still £20 million at least PLUS the player. Eze could command £30 million really so £7 million plus Luke Freeman is flabbergasting.

Exactly! In this case it is certainly a 'seller's market'!!
WLS are reporting that Palace are about to make an initial bid of £12m. Wouldnt think that it's anywhere near what the club want for Eze but it's an opening bid.
Once the bid is official I would then expect to see a few other clubs show their hand.

I know you have to try and save money when bidding - but £12m! Really!?
This is going to be interesting. We all think that he's worth at least £20m but I wouldn't be surprised to see a lower figure (if we ever find out at all). Let's hope that the first bid comes soon and that it generates some competiton.

I agree, although because of the way we do business these days the actual fee that is agreed will only be known as "Undisclosed".

Shock, horror - Palace's derisory offer for Eze has been rejected by QPR!
We will have to consider the loss in revenue for a lot of clubs with no crowds etc during covid they will tighten the purse strings next season only big clubs like spurs and Man U would pay 20 million for him but nobody else
It's possible that some clubs are keeping their powder dry and are waiting to see what happens with Benrahma after the play off final.
Arsenal and Chelsea are supposedly interested in Benrahma but clearly only one of them can sign him. It's possible whoever misses out on Benrahma might join the party to sign Eze.
Spurs and West Ham will also be waiting in the wings and because they could be offering a player plus cash deal it might be more tempting to Warburton.
Supposedly (cannot trust the press you know) Arsenal and West Brom are now showing definite interest too. I am not surprised at the latter as the Baggies bench was almost cheering too at Eze's goal against them!
