It looked like a really poor game with hardly any goal mouth action 50 odd seconds of highlights on sky sports site only Our league is very very poor this season and no team is exactly Brazil
Overall Sheffield United were just about the better team and apart from a Freeman shot in the 2nd half we didn't really look too threatening. It's only when Luongo isn't playing that you realise that he is the guy that makes us tick.
Whilst the Championship is a competitive league there isn't a standout team this season and to think that Sheffield Utd are 2nd and could get promoted is amazing.
Having watched the full 90 I have to agree. Sheffield United are a physical side, not worried about breaking up their opponents play with fouls, but their attacking play is both varied and good. That said, the Rs were usually able to counter their moves, even if they could not mount much of a counter-attack themselves. Not a pretty game but it proved that QPR have indeed come a long way this season.
On the question of subs: Cousins seemed to falter after his early yellow card and I really feel he should have been replaced by Chair early in the second half; and surely Oteh would have made a better choice up front than Smith as we were never going to win headers against 3 x CBs! Of late I have thought McClaren's substitutions have not all been good....
Smith has been ineffective all season. He moves like he is carrying an injury. Oteh had done superbly in the Cup and deserved to come on so McClaren did get that wrong.
You were a brave man to sit through the 90 minutes again kingfisher knowing it was a dull match!
I ain't woke up yet I think We missed luongo to give us a chance of breaking up play and nicking a goal maybe Sheff united nothing special nor are Leeds but they will probably get thrashed at Man City next season and by many others, great fun that is hey
