We could certainly afford to play a lot of the youngsters.
However if we lose we have lost 11 league games in a season for the first time EVER which hopefully we can avoid.
Also with season ticket renewal deadline looming the club probably want us to perform to at least finish the home season on a high and to give the fans some reason to want to return next season.
I don't think we'll see the likes of Kakay and Phillips all thrown in, it will probably be a similar team to usual. Perhaps Ingram could get a game after Lumley has made a few howlers and errors recently?
To make it less likely that less experienced squad members will play, there are still doubts over the injured defenders being available:
QPR defenders Jake Bidwell, Angel Rangel, Grant Hall and Joel Lynch remain doubtful for Saturday’s game against Nottingham Forest. Rangers hoped all four players would be available again this weekend but they are all still struggling.
That means another outing for the Pav-Man duo if the BFG is still ill. As they need decent support I cannot see Eustace risking anyone else in front of them but Scowen, Freeman, Luongo & BOS, so that leaves only Walker getting a game up front.... Personally, I still feel we need to win against Forest to make a point!

Our last game of season at LR and I suspect that if we don't see Cousins, Hall, Bidwell and Lynch today then they would have played their last home game in a QPR shirt. It's almost certain that it will also be the last home game in our blue and white hoops for Wells, Hemed and Cameron. It could also be Rangel's last home game but I suspect the club will agree a deal to extend his contract.
I like Bidwell and I think he deserves an extension but as we all know, it's all about the money.
With nothing to play for today I would like to see Giles Phillips and Lewis Walker in the starting line up. Will they be part of a new successful era in QPR's history, I hope so.

Glad to see Leistner return. Hopefully Walker can make a statement ahead of next season. Surprised to see Freeman dropped but he has been looking tired and not his best recently.

Why did Wells take the penalty? He missed the last one and we had Manning on the pitch who scored a few for Rotherham.
We have lost 11 home games in a single season for the first time in the club's history. Utterly shambolic. Who wanted Holloway out??
No wonder the club are taking a long time to make this managerial appointment because it feels like a big moment for the club. The whole feeling around the club is negative, we need a lift from somewhere.
Sums up this season and at least the previous 2 seasons.
Not clinical enough in front of goal and always susceptible to concede.
Until we sign a goal scorer and get couple of decent defenders plus a leader we will always struggle. Relying so heavily on youngsters and free transfers is never going to work.
We are desperate for some investment and if that doesn't happen and unless there are 3 very poor teams in this league next season we are going down. Our form in this calender year has been abysmal.
Forest haven’t won away for ages They owed us one for us breaking our curse at their gaff Manning should of taken the penalty not wells It’s the not knowing for next season that’s worrying We will never see 3 worse teams than the bottom 3 this season again And that leaves us wide open to get into a relegation battle but this time we will have a group of players that are league one standard at best It’s not all doom and gloom, players like lynch will be gone and we can hopefully get a lower league gem like Blackburn got dack We’re in for one hell of bumpy ride
Eustace has summed things up perfectly. This is what he said after today's game.
That game summed our season up. We haven’t been clinical enough.
“It’s something that we need to get right in the summer and recruit players who are winners and want to put the ball in the net.
“It’s important that we recruit winners – players who aren’t used to losing. I think over the last two or three seasons the standards haven’t been good enough and the recruitment is going to be massive this summer.

How does the club lift itself up from where we are? There is just a vibe of negativity around the club right now (rightly so after this second half to the season).
Many fans are starting to not care. Many fans are simply walking away.
We are so used to losing it doesn't even hurt like it used to. And it should. That is how bad QPR are right now. Fans who used to kick up a storm now just shrug their shoulders, malaise has set in from top to bottom.
Our standards as a club have slipped so low. Just 5 years ago Bobby Zamora was about to pop one in the top corner at Wembley.... how in the name of god have we ended up here?
Our only hope is that they pluck a manager from somewhere that creates a bit of excitement and that in refreshing the majority of the squad in the summer we somehow go from strength to strength. It seems a hell of a long shot right now but without that hope what is the point?
I think your right I stopped caring a little while ago and almost spoke to my mates like it was a comedy moment every Saturday or time we played Letting some steam off on here helped and alcohol also helped on a Saturday evening (lol) We’re not the only ones look at Bolton, not long ago in the premier league and some great players and stadium, now players are going on strike over unpaid wages This season has been a total disaster and how we escaped relegation I’ll never know It’s going to be a uphill task to get our club back to positive vibes again and I don’t suffer as much as the die hard fans that watch the drivel every week and in a way I’m glad I don’t waste what little money I got watching us play at the moment
