QPR Prediction League 2020/21 - Match 1 - Results

First of all thank you to all returning players for joining in again and a huge welcome to new first time QPR Prediction League players Jalfrezi Rs and woodork ! I'm sure it will be an exciting game again this season!
After last season we had CutePR and QPRBex back in the top tier along with ashqpr who made his Division 1 debut today
Perennial yo-yo men SydneyR and ranger-boy were starting life down in Division 2 once again after relegation, along with surrey chad who is back in Division 2 for the first time since the start of 2018/19 2 years ago.
And of course LurkR is going for 3 titles in a row... Can anybody stop him?
It was an opening day of contrasting fortunes, with some big scores for some but a lot of low scores too!
minxymartin and qprallan started with a bang by expertly predicting QPR would win 2-0, superb stuff! surrey chad and woodork also predicted the R's win for 3 points!
New boy Lyndon Dykes could prove the source of a lot of points this season and it was already the case on Day 1, with qprallan, LurkR, minxymartin and surrey chad all predicting he would score first. woodork and MaxQPR got Chair for a back up point.
Nobody got the first goal time but ashqpr got Norwich's 1-0 win correct in the bonus match
We had 16 players score less than 2 points but on the flip side we had 3 players in double points!
Top scorer was minxymartin with 13 points - his highest score since 2015/16! What a way to start after just missing out on promotion losing in the play off final last season.
qprallan and surrey chad weren't far behind on 12 and 10 respectively for great starts.
Reigning champion LurkR had a decent start with 7 points and The Lone Ranger champion woodork started life in the prediction league with a solid 5 points to move straight into the promotion places.
ashqpr started life in Division 1 with 3 points which is enough for 3rd place at this early stage.
@singlespeed forgot to enter but with so many low scores hasn't lost too much ground to most players! Players are listed alphabetically where tied.
Remember Phase 1 is 15 matches long - after which the bottom 3 in Division 1 are relegated, replaced by the top 3 in Division 2. The top 8 existing players in Division 1 get bonus points and the bottom 3 in Division 2 get a points penalty.
Don't forget to enter the knockout CUP in midweek - 10 bonus points are once again on offer for the winner!
