I saw this debate on Twitter and thought it would be good for us to do!

It is the QPR way to bring back former players. Obviously we've brought back Charlie Austin this month and are being linked with more

But if you could choose ONE QPR player from the last 10 years (2011-2021) who would it be?

My heart says Clint Hill or Ale Faurlin, but my head says Adel Taarabt.

He was just incredible in that title winning side. Others were great players but none could transform the team by themselves like Adel.

but Nedum Onouha for me would be a decent runner up

Adel was superb lets face it for that one season (if he would have stayed longer than he did we would have seen the side of him nobody likes) we did see signs of it in premeir leage like gettin on the bus home and stuff like that but he just had that 1 golden season his head made him a liability and iIMHO i think Eze was the better all round player but not the same pizaz that came with Adels drama.

it was Warnock that made Adel that amazing in that season treating him like a 7 year old

what has adel done since us or before us? Warnock deserves a knighthood getting adel that good that 1 and half seasons but by the end of it even Warnock you could tell had had enough of him

lets have Adel forever in our memory of tht great amazing player but we can see why his career never really took off if we were to bring him back it would be a disaster remember hes a lot older now too

This is where i upset more people and i really dont wanna but........

i thought Ale Faurlin was overrated

yes a lovely fella if i ever heard him speak i wudda been even more fond of him (i did like his haircut though )

but for me he was just a body on a football pitch a bit better than Dom Ball but not as good as tackling wasnt exactly a goal threat so why was he so loved by a lot of us?

ok he played a decent pass once in a while but i just didnt rate him like some of us did

i will pack my suitcase i know its upsetting to watch me type this opinion especially after i had the cahonas to say i thought Manning was better than Clint Hillings

Not every fan can love every player, but I could watch Faurlin all day. His passing was fantastic but he also snapped into tackles and just gave the team a balance we've never had since.

I think it speaks volumes that almost every player who played with him includes him in their 1-11 of all time team mates.

Warnock on Sky included Faurlin in his top 1-11 from a 30-40 year managerial career. That shows something.

If he hadn't got injured in January 2012 there were rumours of a move to Arsenal as he'd impressed so much in his first 4 months in the top flight.

He was about 50 times better than Dom Ball! They shouldn't really be in the same sentence!

and just to be included in Neil Warnocks best xi is massive

maybe just maybe i missed it as like you say everyone does mention him

think back then with a new wife (who did go to a game we lost at home to Crewe i think and we left early and i missed big Danny Shittus goal) and 2 new kids money for me was tighter back those seasons Faurlin played for us dont think i had sky sports back then either i dont think i got to as many games that season as i have recent before wife and kids i went to about 12 home games a season and 1 or 2 away.

before covid similar because of work commitments

when i retire i have always promised myself i will get a season ticket but by the time i retire i will prob be dead (at the moment ive got to work til im 68 and my work includes an awful lot of weekends)

so really i shouldnt be so harsh on Faurlin but when i did see him i didnt think he was that good

think ive been proven wrong though
