I totally respect everything you say mate But who would you like in charge next season I also am very disappointed to the way this season ended from where we were end of January In fact we totally balls it up and warburton and the players in a way proved yesterday they can play even with a huge injury list Northwest and others on here also have some very good points that warburton has done a lot of positive things for QPR and I don’t disagree he isn’t a good manager But this season something seriously went wrong and maybe he did lose the dressing room and now the players are trying to regain some respect for him and the fans It’s crazy that although we’ve had this dire run were still only 5 points outside the play offs and goes to show we probably would of been 2nd in the league if we carried on the form we started the year on

please teach me how to be happy with this season end as you seem to be
i need guidance
i thought a point away at Huddersfield would be put under the "too little too late" category......yes a very good point considering what weve witnessed the past 2 months.....but to be celebrating a point against an inferior team IMO is amazing
I'm not happy, but I really want Warburton to stay.
I do question some of his decisions. The loan of Hendrick was bizarre from Day 1 (I questioned this straight away on the February podcast). Why did he play Sanderson instead of Barbet against Peterborough when we had a 2 week break afterwards?
There are frustrations
BUT
I don't feel he should be judged on 2 months when we have progressed massively as a club in his 3 years as manager. This is what I hate about modern football - you really are only as good as your most recent results. Clubs don't have a longer term view and rarely seem to have any long term memory.
We are still only 5 points off the top 6 and I can point to a good number of points we would still have if Dieng wasn't injured. "jazz hands" Marshall cost us a point at Blackburn. He cost us at least 1 and maybe 3 points against Cardiff. I would argue he should have saved the winner at Barnsley. Even adding 2 or 3 points onto our tally and we are still in the mix with Sheffield United still to play.
So do we sack Warburton because Dieng got injured? It wasn't his fault Marshall decided to have floppy gloves on so many occasions.
He's barely been able to name his first choice 11 all season. Field was injured to begin with, Dykes has been injured on and off, we seem to have had a full back or 2 out injured at any one time throughout the season. Then we get to the business end and we lose our best player in Willock.'
I feel it would be very, very harsh to sack him. I'm not happy at all how the season has ended, and like I say there are some questionable choices and decisions he's made, but I feel he definitely deserves the start of next season.
The players are with him and I genuinely feel most of the fans are too. Definitely those in attendance yesterday were anyway.

Very good points
ad maybe im just angry at how things have gone
i dont think Marshall can be blamed as much as you say though in my opinion hes a very good keeper and has saved as many chances as hes fluffed, its my opinion he didnt make a mistake at Blackburn and that wasnt the result that cost us
what cost us were the debacles at home to Cardiff and Peterbrough......i was at the Cardiff game and the bewilderment of the majority of the fans after that game was damning toward MW.
looking at the situation now Hendrick was an odd signing but at the time he was another player that could do a job he obviously doesnt fancy dozzell as much as hes had to recent.
i dont buy the injuries cost us yes Willock is a bad loss but when January came round he could have addressed this but didnt......he chose to bring in the luxury of Jeff Hendrick instead
yes i agree why drop barbet for the first time in seasons for Sanderson......thats one of the reasons he lost confidence from his spine......wasnt just Barbet lost out playing time to Sanderson so did dickie and Dunne (3 of our best players) arguably 1 of those 3 might win our player of season.
i really liked MW and like you agree hes made a very good job of things over the past 3 years........but the posh result following the Cardiff defeat during the 5 back to back defeats to me shows he may have lost the spark he had with the squad
when they went through the spell of losing both Chair and Dieng during AFCON and we had this spell then i would agree with what you say
this happened after the return of the pair
marshall for example was kept in the team and Dieng had to make do with a sub spot
we got on without Chair which was an amazing set of results during that period
but what happened to get these bad results
Sanderson and Hendrick introductions to a happy squad
its all gone downhill since
hes upset the spine which effects the dressing room
i would never have wanted MW to leave but the 2 month period is so shocking its gone from the fanbase thinking we wont lose to now thinking we will never get 3 points or a win ever again
look at the proof people are celebrating a 2-2 draw away at Huddersfield

If he was only being judged on the first 2 months that would indeed be unfair. I would also discount his first season (20018/19) when any new manager would be taking stock and evaluating the players. IMO the club have allowed him to bring in his own men and given him money to spend.
IMO it's a combination of the first 4 months of the 19/20 season and from January this year. At the start of both those periods he brought in new players and then tried to justify those signings by throwing them into the starting line-up. It didn't help that in that first period he wanted to play 4-2-3-1 but with players who found his system alien to them. Dykes and Bonne were firing blanks and he didn't seem to realise that his new goalie Kelly was dodgy. If we couple that with Wallace getting injured and Warburton deciding that Manning would be a good replacement at left back it just made us worse.I even remember when Wallace did get fit he tried playing him as a centre back which was strange as when he had done the exact same at Rangers they got well beaten as did we.
My biggest bug bear with Warburton is his stubbornness to change his system even when it obvious to everyone else that it's not working. It seemed obvious to most that Manning needed to be played as a wing back because his skill was getting up and down the flanks and to use his crossing ability. Dykes and Bonne were raw and needed some guidance which they eventually got when Austin was signed by Fernandes. It was just as strange that Warburton didn't rate Leistner but without him we were leaderless on the pitch. It shouldn't take a manager nearly 18 months to realise that a team needs to have a leader.
Whilst some of his signings have improved us (Willock, Dickie,Dunne, Barbet) too many of his additions have been poor or are just old mates. He has spent money on players like Bonne, Kelly, Kelman and Dozzell who are at best average League 1 players.
I think it's unfair to suggest he is being judged on the last 2 months.
the last 2 months are the pinnacle of his last 3 seasons and therefore for me hes failed
this is his efforts at an end product which to me from outside looking in looks like hes lost the plot
ive always liked the way his team has played football but when it mattered he couldnt get his team to gel not on just one or two occasions which is to be expected but to lose 5 in a row at this vital time and lets face it we should have lost against Luton too and on top of that the FA cup game versus Posh where agin we didnt gel.
no matter how you look at this its something none of us would have imagined in our wildest nightmares
you mention Ryan Manning and to me the way he dealt with him was also Bizzare he was a real asset at wing back for us and we looked very good when he was used in that position
then all of a sudden he puts him in a back four which was alien to him
i agree hes made good signings and bad......for me the majority have been good
i just feel like its come to light over the past 2 months that his indecision's and lack of judgement are for all to see
i cant see us going anywhere near getting to where we were at the start of february anytime soon
the direction of the club at end of last season and majority of this has all been undone at the vital part of the season
which to me proves he is not "quite" the right fit
close but no Cigar
i talk to many QPR fans and most like me cant even bare to look at his post match reactions
you would be surprised at how Many QPR fans feel cheated by him.
feels like our end of season play off appearance has been thrown away
like ive said before even if we had missed out by a point or 2 but fought during defeats it wouldnt feel like weve thrown it away
If a lively although bottom of the league derby beat us He should maybe consider leaving his post That would be 7 without a win and yet another bottom of the league team beat us
