Would represent good business, not sure if I had him on my list of players that I posted the other week or not, but I’ve liked what I’ve seen of him at Wednesday and Charlton. Thought he was very impressive at Hearts too when he played as a midfield player which I think is his better position. He’s tenacious, energetic and the type of player suited to a pressing team. I think this would represent good business and a step in the right direction.
Aston Villa have yet to evaluate Tim Iroegbunam as his injury has delayed an appraisal. With there now being European football for them they will need a stronger squad, but have been unable to determine if Tim is ready or needs another loan period. Fingers crossed we get him out on loan again!
A 27 year old, right-footed, CM. He has 44 appearances in League One and achieved 9 goals and 5 assists in those, so not bad! I am presuming he is a replacement for Johansen?
Lewis wing is a really good player at league one level Boro really rated him when he was there after he was plucked from non league Hit a rough patch but has since proved himself, scored a wonder goal against Peterborough I think it was Jeff stelling on soccer saturday demanded it was shown again after they showed it I think he would be a good signing
Over the next 10 days England have matches against Malta and North Macedonia which may have an effect on who will need to be sold and whether Ainsworth has any money to spend.
If Eze does get to play in one of those games then the club could be eligible to get a few quid off Palace as part of his transfer deal and that would be a major factor in who they have to sell or who they might buy.

I really hope that explains the lack of visible activity! We probably only have two more weeks to start bedding in new players (and getting any out of trim players signed match fit). This is going to be a tough season in the Championship and we need every possible advantage if we are to avoid another relegation battle!

Be stunned if Eze moves this summer. As I’ve said elsewhere, our 20% sell on is going to mean Palace want £60m plus for a player that’s not yet put together a good season of football in the Premier League. Clubs (Newcastle, Spurs and United) aren’t going to go for that when they can get Maddison, Milinković-Savić & Mount for cheaper. The others who could afford to buy aren’t looking for that player.

I'd agree that there is little chance of Eze moving anytime soon but I think we get some additional money from Palace if he wins an International cap.

I'm clutching at straws really but let's hope that Eze wins a cap and that generates the club a few bob which we can hopefully, put to good use. Maybe we can then impress any prospective signings with our new training ground which isn't far off completion.
