News on the injured on WLS:

RE the number 2 — expect another right-back to come in now that the club are going to have to pay a compensation fee for Reggie Cannon. I would expect to see him sold, probably to the MLS, now so the club can recoup some money. Not favoured at all by Martí either, even if I think he’s a more sustainable option at right-back than Dunne. 7 will go to one of the two wide players we’re looking it. I’ve seen as we retain an interest in a Korean midfielder and Hayden will continue to be linked until he goes elsewhere. May then expect Dixon-Bonner to go out on loan, at least for the first half of the season.

RE West Brom. Just had a look at their squad which is flooded with capable, dangerous yet inconsistent forwards with little in midfield and a lack of pace at the back. I’ve got an inkling they’ll play a back three today that can move to a 4-3-3 should they go behind. We’ll play 4-2-3-1, only decision is who to play down the middle. I’m expecting Frey, with Celar on after an hour.
