It's not a good look when The Championship side is making 7 changes and the top flight side is almost full strength.
It won't go down well if we lose tonight and still lose at the weekend.
Based on the line ups my prediction is 3-0. But still think first goal gives us a fighting chance.
The most important thing for me is that we are competitive. I'm expecting us to get beaten after making so many changes but if we can give Palace a reasonable game that should giveth whole squad a boost.
Celar gave away a stupid free kick, which was quickly taken by Eze, which catches the Rangers players asleep and Nketia scores. It's really poor from our defence.
We haven't offered much in front of goal but Saito has done well down the left and caused Palace a few problems. Marti won't be happy that more sloppy defending from a free kick has allowed Palace to take the lead.

Smyth forces a great save then Field scores from the resulting corner. Henderson should have caught the corner but punched it into danger and Madsen kept it alive. Field lovely control and fires into the top corner on the swivel.
Dembele coming on for EDB has helped us play through the lines.

Palace were in cruise control in the first half and they now look rattled.
Unlucky deflection but that is incredibly frustrating poor defending. So obvious what Eze was doing to do. Ashby booked so couldn't pull him back. Everybody else too slow to get out to Eze when he was always going to cut back and shoot.
Can't see us bouncing back from that. We'd been so much better too.

We could still get the draw. It seems a typical QPR performance with a poor first half followed by a much more spirited 2nd half.
