I would be a good time if they are to do it A whole pre season and transfer activity from a new boss Maybe the board are not happy with the decline in crowds and how predictable we are under Ollie
Tough on Olly if true I think. I'm in the camp that says that he hit all the objectives this year and so should get the chance to move things on next year.
I don't have a problem with McClaren as such but this is a big call. Still, better to make it early.
OLLIE has taken us backwards. This is the year we should have made some progress. Had we been in the top half nudging the play offs. I would say let him carry on. But I'm not sure I'm in favour of McClaren either.
McClaren a good coach but not so good a manager We need a fresh approach to things though as its gone stale with Ollie and nothing has changed He's developed some youngsters but I think more luck was involved because he had no choice but to use them as our squad was a bit short on numbers Some of our results and performances have been awful and we rode our luck on some of our wins, the only wins of note we're wolves and the best performance villa away But we lost a lot of winnable games and ollies tactics were questionable at times
I'd of gone for Neil Harris at Millwall if I had a choice
I have nothing against Steve McClaren either but is he going to have more money available than Ollie or better luck with injuries? I still believe that Ollie did the best with the cards he was dealt and he LOVES this club!
I love Ollie but everytime we play a cup or away game you just know most of the time we are going to lose That pattern needs to stop and we can't simply rely on home form to get us out of trouble and stay in the league You want exactly the same as the last two seasons then stick with Ollie

We lose in cups with every manager, that is not a Holloway specific issue.
When you say "You want exactly the same as the last two seasons then stick with Ollie" this comes down to what kingfisher put above - it is not a case of wanting the same, the issue is how can somebody else do better unless they are given funds?
I'm not sure how McClaren or anybody else can improve on the last 2 seasons with the same squad/with the same lack of resources.
The board obviously think different We have empty seats for a reason The fans only come out of the woodwork when we are in the premier league for some strange reason Relegation battles in the championship are the best we can look forward to short term and why do our board expect 10th with the lack of funds we have Next season is the one we could really struggle as the league will be far better as far as quality of teams Our better players would have left and we then have a team mostly full of kids I've been so uninterested this season,I try to find a reason to actually talk about QPR,we are skint and play some boring and crap football most of the time We have been run so badly and deserve what we are getting now I'm afraid
Picking new managers is really tough, especially when the club can't spend any money and could easily find ourselves fighting to avoid relegation next year. I really feel that the club is moving in the right direction at the moment and don't think this is the time to take that risk. I wasn't convinced that Olly was the right appointment at the time and he does make some strange choices (and statements!) sometimes. But right now I'd stick with him.
