I was looking forward to seeing Luongo, he had a couple of chance to really launch an attack, on one instance he started running and then just stopped and we lost the ball.
Also I don't like the numbers on our shirt, very hard to read the red on a striped back, should be black I think - just my thought.
Make sense with the fb with the goalkick, at first when I noticed it, I thought it was for the keeper to pass to him, then I noticed they both did it and the keeper was not even looking at them to pass it, then they would just run up the pitch when he kicks it.
I suppose it gives them a chance to react as they can chase the ball better and even run up or challenge the knock down. Dunno.
I really enjoyed the day, it was great seeing Stan and the supporters really clapping and supporting him, as for the team, think it will be a long season but we do need to get behind them and cheers them one.
I would have to agree with Zantor's view. I'm not sure how anyone watching that game could have picked Mas as the star player? Occasionally, I read match reports or player ratings and wonder if the writer was actually at the game! Mas wasn't awful but definitely no man of the match.

It has been confirmed today that over £100,000 has been raised for Stan from the match and other fundraising. Absolutely fantastic. Along with #Game4Grenfell another reason to be so proud of our club recently.

Unbelievable how things have turned around at the club with so many positive things happening. Fantastic to see the club looking after its own and helping the local community. Also great to see the club running itself in the right way again.
