Why the negativity towards McClaren?

The big factor in all of this is that we had one of our own at the helm in Ollie, we love him and and really wanted him to succeed as we remembered the good times we had under him as player and manager and desperately want them again, even in League 1 we had a great time winning games and had several QPR supporters in the team. McLaren just doesn't do it for us, he has failed in a number of clubs and we are all expecting him to fail with us too, so the expectation is not if but when he fails.

The only chance he has to get us onside is to get us playing some decent football with our own players. I am not 100% certain he took the decision to ship out a lot of our youngsters, I suspect there were decisions made at a higher level to forgo the youth development to keep us in the Championship and we need to balance the books so loaned out a few players.

Right now we need a long term manager who will build the club like Eddie Howe has done at Bournemouth, but finding the one person is nigh on impossible. I look at John Eustace and get the feeling this is the person we need. Forget promotion and the Premiership for a few years, lets do what we should have years back and get a long term strategy around and young and promising manager.

McClaren was Fernandes' choice, his last big move as Chairman. Ferdinand may have crossed the T's and dotted the I's but he never chose or appointed McClaren really, he was doing what his bosses told him to do.

Well why as DOF did he not say I'm off not my choice.
TF does not draw up the list of candidates.
He may have had a say in the end but SIR LES draws up list.
Just another reason why he is a failure sadly as DOF.

He has certainly shaken off our away day blues.

More than any personal dislike I just feel from the majority of the fanbase as soon as we lose or have a few bad games back to back McClaren is public enemy Number 1 very, very quickly and I don't feel that is a good thing for the club.

If we win the reaction is 'ok we won'.
If we lose he is the worst manager since Mark Hughes!
