On paper and current form should be a comfortable 3 points, but I've been a QPR fan too long now to presume anything,it won't be easy and we will still have to play well to win this match against the fake hoops We have a tough away trip at villa next game so we need to try and get something from this game Luongo not playing will be a big gap to fill and hopefully whoever does fill it can play as well Come on rangers
I think that tells us what pressure Reading are putting us under. Before this season I would be worried a lot about those stats, but this team now seems to lap up the pressure and then strike like a cobra!

Based on those stats Villa will batter us A point is ok but we're no play off contenders in the making if we get outplayed by a team who haven't won in 9 games and without two first teamers who were red carded last game Some strange results all over the place today Can't win em all
Finishes goalless with 3 yellow cards for the squad. Sounds like a real ding-dong but the defence held. I would have loved them to get a win though to maintain confidence ahead of a tough January set of fixtures...
We'd of been in the play off zone if we won today Maybe no luongo is going to tell on how we play
There is no doubt that an on-form Mass is best. A hard act to follow at present! (So we had better pray he stays fully fit and focused whilst on international duty!)
I agree and that is a good sign. In August we would have done anything for a 0-0.
It is clear we aren't quite play off material because every time we get closer we can't take that next step. Not beating Hull and Reading is costly if we do have lofty ambitions.
Luongo is a key player, he had a 100% appearance record prior to today, he is a big loss but we should adjust to playing without him as each match passes.
Overall though it is good to stay unbeaten and it's another clean sheet...but it just feels like a bit of a missed opportunity.

We looked flat as a pancake at times Reading had a lot of passing but no end product which Aston Villa will have a lot of Reading will be ok if they continue to play like they did today But I agree with northwest we've come a long way moaning about a 0-0 After West Brom I'd of taken being 8th in the table and well clear of the relegation zone
Not a great performance in the first half although we were a little better in the 2nd half. Several players looked off the pace today and Eze should have been rested at least 2 games ago. Cousins was ok but he is not a Massimo Luongo and it showed today. Leistner came closest to scoring for the R's but managed to hit the woodwork in both halves. Lumley pulled off some cracking saves and was my Man of the Match. A game to forget!
Just back, we look knackered. There was a lack of movement, we couldn't cope with their pass and move play. Cousins is no replacement for Luongo and Scowen wasn't on form either. Eze needs a rest.
The back 4 look settled and it will be hard for Rangle to get his place back, Lynch made a couple of mistakes but overall we were comfortable. This was a game of 2 keepers, theirs was busier and made some lovely saves and Lumley was spot on with 2, possibly 3 class saves but his distribution is poor.
I think this was a typical game for this time of year when the games come thick and fast, Reading played some nice play but have nothing in the final third. We know we have more. Personally i don't fear Villa as they are in the same position as us, are under greater pressure to make the play offs, and we go there undefeated in 4, beating other teams around us and only conceding 1 goals in 4 games.
