Smyth being mooted by WLS to be wanted by Charlton on loan, which would make sense.
I like Smyth because he has a bit of pace and can be tricky but he can be too easily knocked off the ball.
Because he lacks the physicality needed for Championship football its almost certain we won't see him in a QPR shirt again once his loan period finishes.

Yes season long loan with the option to recall in January. You have to think his days at QPR are numbered if he doesn't absolutely smash it at Charlton.
Saw young Smythy a while back and he scored in a home win cant remember who against we won 2-1 i think for some reason Cardiff is in my head? took his goal really well think was a volley or half volley and loved a summersault too
thought he did well hardly played for us since
one of those i forgot about
maybe just too small but i thought he done well when he played for us think hes scored at least 3 first team goals which is 2 more than Dykes and he grafts like nobodys business too heart of a lion but body of a meercat.
and how he played that game he is just as good as what we have on the wings at the minute with BOS leaving
i was hoping for more from Adomah but him just being a QPR fan will mean i will never moan about him ever
for me were bang in need of a left back and 2 midfielders with Carroll out now so why bring smyth back at all unless hes being sod to someone else??

I think Charlton are sending him back rather than us recalling him. Apparently they have 6 loans and can only have 5 in a matchday squad so Smyth is surplus to requirements.
Maybe he will get another chance at QPR now that BOS has gone, but like you say Adomah hasn't even been starting and Smyth will be behind him in the pecking order.

If that is the case then Smyth was rated 6th in their loan players list... I am wondering whether he could be converted more successfully than Willock to a CM role...? That would still leave Adomah available for selection on the wing and the opportunity for him to score as @tomcat75 watches in his lucky pants!
Lee Bowyer says it is Queens Park Rangers’ decision to recall Paul Smyth from his loan spell at The Valley.
“Paul Smyth is QPR’s player,” explained Bowyer.
“We don’t have a term where we can send him back. QPR, if they call him back, they call him back. That’s their decision. But Paul Smyth has been excellent around the place.
“He’s missing out because we’ve got Ronnie (Schwartz), we’ve got Conor (Washington). We’ve got people that can play in his position. That’s football, that’s the way it works.”
I doubt that young Smyth has a future at QPR if he can't get into the Charlton team ahead of Washington.

I really hoped the spells away would hone his skills but, like many others given that chance, he has found instead that his performances have relegated him to the bench too many times.
