I had hoped that Grant Hall might be included today but it appears that he has had another setback in his attempt to get fully fit. It appears he suffered some reaction to the injury that has kept him out this season after the last U23 game. Let's hope it's not too bad.

They lost 2-1 today.
Shodipo may have performed well for the Under 23's since his return but he is miles away from being involved with the first team as I see it.
He is behind Wheeler and Samuel and even they struggle for game time.
He barely played out on loan for Port Vale last season (who were relegation League 1 standard) and Holloway is not a fan of his defensive game so he is unlikely to be played ahead of Pavel as a wing back.
Unless he get's played as a striker he doesn't seem to fit into our system and is he likely to get in ahead of the current 4 first team strikers?
OLLIE sadly will not make bold brave moves. And I can understand it's his job on the line. But games such as BOLTON are a golden opportunity to give these kids a chance.

Think if we had played a couple of the U23s against Bolton we would have lost! The Championship is sooo tight!!
Difficult one. A few of the youth players do look promising but we learnt in the League Cup that our fringe players by and large aren’t good enough yet.
