im no mathematician but i can work out the squad is thin especially in the striking department

The passion of football is that after 2 games against Blackpool and Rotherham everything can look grim but after 2 games against Watford and Hull everything looks very rosy. Balance those 4 games out and things look decent.

Whilst I'm certain that Mick Beale didn't get panicked by the 2 poor home matches he won't get carried away by the latest 2 wins.

We saw under Warburton that if Chair and Willock play then we are a threat to anyone. At the moment those two are now doing the busines and both are scoring goals. Despite the wins and despite the form of Illy and Willy it doesn't paper over the cracks because Beal knows that we still have issues defending through the centre of defence and that Dykes continues to fire blanks.

Mick Beale is a young manager who has the confidence to try things and isnt afraid to change back if those systems or decisions dont work. As he gets to understand each player in more depth I believe he will improve the team and in another 15 games we should all have a much better take on what Mick Beale might be able to achieve.

I like Mick, I liked Warbs too. But you can tell Beale is someone who knows the changes of the game and IF QPR had the money, I am sure we'd have a great striker by now.

The problem is, we ain't got money.

Dykes will play when fit, Armstrong to keep getting chances off the bench, Roberts to play as a 9 when Dykes is out.

We can cope without another striker. We would all love to bring in a 15+ goal striker but we don't have the funds. If we did the club would have acted.
