WE NEED ANOTHER STRIKER I THINK WE NEED 2.......MAY I BE SO BOLD AND SAY I ALSO THINK WE NEED ANOTHER FULLBACK preferably to save money because i do understand the rules of FFP this fullback able able to play both flanks so we dont have to play Niko H in particular or on a slightly less version Kakay
and dont go saying we have Roberts (whos a number 10), Bonne (head isnt with us he wants away) Armstrong (not ready)
the end of the day the squad is not in good shape and the squad MW had was much better prepared but got hit by injuries and our play off push didnt materialise
only reason Beale didnt get one in is because it would have upset the penny pinching board
you can not go into a full blown championship season with just the 1 available and good to go striker
so sign/ inherit as many midfielders/ number 10s as you want Roberts, Chair, Willock, Richards, Dozzell, Thomas, Field, Johansen, Amos, Bettache, iroegbunam, Adomah, Shodipo, Thomas they cant be used as number 9s

We have Bonne Dykes Armstrong and Roberts
No doubt we wanted another one but as has been said many times you don't always get your targets in transfer window.
We tried, agents, managers, money all have a factor in this.
For a club our size we no different to any others who we manage to get or not get.
Beale it's already proven has alternative plans with attack and on top of the four above mentioned , attack minded players include Amos, Thomas, Adomah, Willock, Chair, Irgobeaum, Richards, Shodipo, Johansen, Dozzell and also it seems two excellent attack minded full backs.
Even as we were, we in TOP FIVE for goals scored so far.
Our main issue been about conceding so far to be fair.
But again, you putting massive criticism AGAIN on Beale.
Tbh it's desperate.
If as you say you followed Rangers for decades,you can hopefully agree compared to some of the dross years and dreadful squads we have we are doing pretty well currently.
Yes ideally we all wanted another out and out number nine but teams as poor as Man City and Barcelona have had fake number nines in recent times and can't say they massively failed.
And again if as proved for reasons beyond our control, we weren't able get our top target Archer, its shame but there be no real reason get sloppy seconds ie if replacement target Connor Washington standard, what's the point of that.
We got a whole host of attacking minds, added to this season nicely with Richards, Roberts and Tim. We have kept Willock,Chair, Adomah and at slightly lower end value, Amos, Thomas and Bonne and also with the emergence of Armstrong all OK.
Clearly if Archer had been snared,Bonne would have left but he was kept as were all our top performers such as Dieng, Dickie, Dunne, Field and, Willock and Chair.
Yet your gripe with Beale over his dreadful failure get another out and out nine when attacking options been increased dramatically elsewhere.

Poor Guy still only eight games in and we nineth and we had a few injuries to contend with also.
You saying about Austin and Gray who tbh were both overweight and not up to 100% match fitness even given their ages. Very slow and apart from few goals totally disrupted at times our style of play and effectiveness.
They both cost us a relative fortune compared to all our young and up and coming players and we have only managed to strengthen due to losing the two of them off our payroll !!!
The reason for change in manager was more emphasis on youth and recruitment this window seems very solid tbh.
Dykes contributes in many other ways that Gray and Austin really didn't and the reduction in costs has enabled us to maintain our squad and also had several exciting new members to our squad.
Laird for instance and full backs are a major part of attacking options these days.
But he didn't get in a potential Connor Washington which we all would have loved obviously.
So in your eyes, Beale has failed. And also his waist lines you say is a disgrace. Surely Les should have noted that when recruiting such a man. Strength I do not have any to give !!!!!!!

And even added to this. I don't think we will go down this route but there is still possibly the option of a free agent, Matej Vydra, Andy Carroll are available amongst others.
But crikey as a long term fan myself, I think we should give managers four or five years.
Ferguson had dire results in first four years at United.
I personally would have stuck with Warburton and think loss of form down to not having Dieng and Willock for prolonged period.
But I behind Beale now and not fricking panicking every five minutes. Maybe read up on "Rome wasn't built in a day"

How about this
Dykes works his socks off and creates space for the tens to weave their magic. Just needs one to go in off his backside and the potential is there.
Roberts shows moments of class and looks a great link up man and if he up top with Chair and Willock that be far from a lacklustre frontline.
Bonne has elements to his game that suggest improvements can be made. Potential is there and in Beale there is a man to bring this out of the man and scoring streak at Ipswich at start of last season says he has it in him.
Armstrong is 19 and is still growing as a man and as a player. He looks incredibly threatening and an absolute unit. With clever man management and correct game time for him, he is the potential x factor. Ie could be anything..
Alongside the 15 million attacking midfielders we have , as you say, yes can see a very shabby squad indeed.

Conor Washington was deemed a nine but he really wasn't !!
Tried hard but his shooting boots went missing.
So maybe we could buy Harry Maguire but give him the number nine shirt to wear then we would have snared our number nine.
