Ha ha. Indeed. I was one of those comments. But I am happy to stick with those comments. We were terrible. And now we are brilliant. But that's the charm of being a QPR supporter. It will usually be a proverbial rollercoaster ride.
We can cope without another striker. We would all love to bring in a 15+ goal striker but we don't have the funds. If we did the club would have acted.

yes at the moment were scoring goals from deeper within the team but that doesn't always click as we have seen in the past every team needs a focus point and ours just isn't working at the moment.
lets face it every club in the championship knows Willock and Chair are our main problems and will set up game plans to stop them and this will be easier for clubs to do when its just one of them playing.
Lyndon Dykes has been hit by the confidence bug if he doesn't score soon i think he could end up with 1 goal this season his confidence issue seems that severe its not as if he hasn't suffered with this before with us as his whole QPR career he seems to have suffered it with the exception of when Charlie Austin arrived to get him over the hump.
i was in shock we didnt sign a forward and when it was announced about the villa kid was a midfielder i was scratching my head as even dozzell seems to have pulled his socks up in that department so no need to strengthen there at all
its hard enough to watch Dykes at the best of times but just say he gets injured WOW. poor old Armstrong wont be ready and the expectations of the crowd could make that poor lad suffer (possibly bring back Kelman from his loan? not sure if Bonne is still with us but if he is play Bonne instead of Dykes get that rocket up Lyndon)
Dykes needed a striker signed more than anyone as it seemed to do the trick when Austin arrived and made him step up his game.
At the moment no competition for his place has basically said your playing so dont worry about things.
there has to be a free agent out there like Robson-Kanu? i have no idea if hes got a club or what but surely just someone needs to be breathing down Lyndons neck
options for when Dykes is injured or bang out of form both of which is often thats a serious point made
as i know we dont have the funds for a marksmen hes just an option because of the lack of activity made by Beale the whole close season so my options have become limited
ive supported this club for many many years and like you im entitled to my opinion
take a look at other forums see what the vibes are like with other fans with Beales decision not to sign a striker

I have no doubt the vibe elsewhere is people moaning because people love to moan and all they want is more signings. Signings. Signings. Signings. It's like they don't understand FFP or that we shouldn't sign somebody just for the sake of it.
hes either a novice learning his trade as a manager, getting to know the players and once he cracks it (hopefully soon) all his previous coaching experience will pay dividends.
The flip is he’s full of…and an arrogant so n so to boot. he quite possibly may just have no backbone at present and cant stand up to the board like MW did.
im leaning toward the latter at present.
just cant make him out at the moment although i must point out he hardly comes across likeable to me. an overconfident PE Teacher springs to mind he could have tried to lose the extra weight around his middrift when he became in charge of a professional sports team and role model ti athletes.

Would suggest its probably yourself that would come across as arrogant with such an unkind and abusive name calling to a man, that you have given zero respect to, after a mere half a dozen games into his tenure.
To be fair, things have improved result wise in last few weeks and the team are playing for each other.
In my eyes thats down to the overconfident PE teacher, as you so kindly call Beale.
Crikey we really prefer fans that support our team and not jump on losing a couple of games to then use insults and abuse. How is your mid drift.
He is the coach not a player. And main part of that is motivating his players and understanding the tactics to be used in his games and communicating that to his players during training sessions.
All those are possible with being slightly overweight.

yes reading back im slightly harsh
when i went to Watford away i went for the first time not wanting to be there the result for me was unfair as Watford were the better team.
6 points later no striker it would be interesting to see hadnt we got these 6 points would we have a new striker? most certainly yes
do i think we still need a striker? yes sir i do
am i manager of the club i love? no unfortunatley not but every man and his dog can see Dykes is not worthy the shirt as for options mentioned from Northwest in injured Roberts, Bonne and Willock?
i can be wrong and i hope im proven wrong however its clear to see we need options incase it goes wrong (and lets face it it most certainly can go wrong)
Beale looked like he had the balls to tell the board what he needed then he didnt get the striker he so blatantly wanted.
so we make do with Dykes, Bonne, Roberts, Armstrong
2 of which wont hardly play (Roberts injured and Bonne wanting out).
if in 5 6 weeks were carrying on in our vein of form you will be right not to be as worried as me but if in 5 6 weeks we havent won again or Chair and Willock out injured i will be right
whats the better idea? get someone in incase it all goes wrong keep yourself as the manager happy and your fan base at present the only people Beale is keeping happy are the board
now i feel i may be looked at like im mental in these parts which is odd because ive been a fan of the club for many many decades however i do strongly believe we need at least 1 more striker? Within these decades ive never seen such a lob sided squad

WE NEED ANOTHER STRIKER I THINK WE NEED 2.......MAY I BE SO BOLD AND SAY I ALSO THINK WE NEED ANOTHER FULLBACK preferably to save money because i do understand the rules of FFP this fullback able able to play both flanks so we dont have to play Niko H in particular or on a slightly less version Kakay
and dont go saying we have Roberts (whos a number 10), Bonne (head isnt with us he wants away) Armstrong (not ready)
the end of the day the squad is not in good shape and the squad MW had was much better prepared but got hit by injuries and our play off push didnt materialise
only reason Beale didnt get one in is because it would have upset the penny pinching board
you can not go into a full blown championship season with just the 1 available and good to go striker
so sign/ inherit as many midfielders/ number 10s as you want Roberts, Chair, Willock, Richards, Dozzell, Thomas, Field, Johansen, Amos, Bettache, iroegbunam, Adomah, Shodipo, Thomas they cant be used as number 9s
We do need another striker for sure And rumour had it we were supposed to get 2 players from Villa and that included Cameron archer who is a damn good young striker Gerrard blocked any move by all clubs for him and that included his old mate Beale Yesterday it wouldn’t of mattered if we had haaland and mitrovic up front we wouldn’t of scored We didn’t create anything,Beale got his selection tactics totally wrong and we’re generally poor all over the pitch But I don’t disagree Jude our lack of proven strikers will prove costly this season.
